Mountain Biking


What is it?

Fun orientated skills sessions going through Levels 1-3 of the Go-MTB Accreditation scheme. Earn certificates for learning and showing your skills!

When & where?

Term time from 10 am - 12:30pm on:

Saturday 5th & 12th October.

Holiday MTB rides from 10 am - 12:30 pm on Monday 14th, Wednesday 16th & Friday 18th October. These sessions are guided trail rides around Huntly shredding trails in The Bin forest and Battlehill.

For who?

Youngsters who are in P7 - S6 who are confident on a bike.  


Each session costs £10 if you bring your own bike. Instructors will check all bikes to ensure they are trail ready before setting off from the Centre. If the instructor detects an issue with someone's own bike then a bike will have to be hired from the Centre for an additional £5.

We have a range of mountain/ trail bikes for adults and children which are available for hire. The mountain bikes are used on our mountain bike sessions.

You can cycle straight from the Centre or go to other great cycle routes nearby. Popular spots for mountain biking around Huntly include the Bin Forest and the Clashindarroch Forest.
